Overview
The classic first visit, and the one almost everyone pictures when they think of Nusa Penida. We cross by fast boat in the morning and spend the day along the wild western cliffs — including the T-Rex ridge at Kelingking that fills everyone's feed. I keep us slightly ahead of the tour crowd so you get your photos without queueing.
I collect you from your hotel in Kuta, Seminyak, Ubud or Sanur and we drive to Sanur harbour.
A 30–45 minute crossing. Sit near the middle of the boat if you are prone to seasickness.
The famous dinosaur-shaped headland. The viewpoint is the photo; climbing down is steep and optional.
A natural stone archway over the sea, and a clear tidal pool right beside it.
A relaxed local warung looking out over the water.
Soft sand and calm turquoise water — the easiest swim on the island.
We return to Sanur and I drive you back to your hotel.
