Overview
Nusa Penida is Bali's wild neighbour — towering limestone cliffs, impossibly blue water and beaches that look unreal until you see them yourself. We cross by fast boat in the morning and spend the day with our own car and driver on the island, timing each stop to avoid the biggest crowds. The roads are rough in places, but the views are worth every minute.
We drive to Sanur harbour for the morning fast boat.
About 45 minutes across the strait, with Bali shrinking behind you.
The famous T-Rex shaped cliff above a turquoise bay — the view that put Penida on the map.
Two natural wonders side by side: a collapsed sea arch and a natural infinity pool.
Lunch with an ocean view, then time on the sand at Crystal Bay.
Fast boat back to Bali and a comfortable drive to your hotel.
